AvantLink’s Discounts page gives you access to available discounts, promotions and coupon codes provided by your merchant partners.
IDENTIFYING DISCOUNTS/PROMOTIONS/COUPON CODES
From your AvantLink dashboard , navigate to Ad Tools > Discounts.
Looking for something specific? Selecting the filter iconin the top left will allow you to search by:
- Discount Title: Search by title of the discount given by the merchant.
- Discount Details: Search by keywords that describe the discount/promotion/coupon code
- Discount Type: Search by Automatic (discounts/promotions without a coupon code) or Coupon (discounts/promotions that include a coupon code)
- Merchants: Search for specific merchant's discounts/promotions/coupon codes.
- Coupon Code: Search for specific coupon codes
- Rule Type: Search by Exclusive or Qualified coupon codes, as designated by your merchant partners.

Please note: Restricted Coupon Codes are hidden by default. To view these, toggle the View Restricted Coupon Code Rules toggle under Settings.

INTEGRATING DISCOUNTS/PROMOTIONS/COUPON CODES
- The table on your Discounts page will display all available discounts, promotions and coupon codes from your active merchant partners.
- The Discount Title, Discount Details and Coupon Code fields can be used to craft posts, promotions and content for your use.
- By clicking the Get Link button next to your discounts you will create a tracking link for use in conjunction with that specific discount/promotion/coupon code
- You can customize these links in the same way you can your other AvantLink tracking links:
- Affiliate Website: If you have multiple/secondary websites associated with your account, you can select which website you’d like to associate the performance of the ad to.
- Custom Tracking Code: The Custom Tracking Code (CTC) will add additional tracking parameters to every click the ad generates. For example, the CTC can be used to denote the placement of the ad on your website, you could use the following term as a CTC: Homepage Leaderboard. Then use the Classic report: Performance Summary By Custom Tracking Code to review the performance.

HOW TO REVIEW DISCOUNT PERFORMANCE
There are a few ways to measure the performance your discounts:

Performance Summary by Discount
- Navigate to the Classic reports page and run the Performance Summary by Discount report.
- Select ‘Show more columns’ will expose more details.

Sales Commission Detail report
- Navigate to the Classic reports page and run the Sales Commission Details report.
- Select ‘Show more columns’ will expose the Coupon Code column and Tool Name column.
- Filter to the specific coupon code, by Discount Link Tool Name or by the transaction type "Sale (Exclusive Coupon)”.

Performance Summary by Ad Tool report
- Navigate to the Classic reports page and run the Performance Summary By Ad Tool report.
- Review the number of sales and sale amounts associated with Discount Link.
