If your account is designated as a Limited Access Affiliate Account, this means your access within the network is currently restricted to the specific merchant(s) that initially approved your application. Affiliates sometimes have limited access because you do not fully meet the AvantLink acceptance criteria, but a specific merchant would like to still partner with you.
You are fully authorized to promote those approved merchant programs and earn commissions in accordance with their program terms. However, you will not be able to apply to or join additional merchant programs until your account is reviewed and approved for expanded network access.
WHAT DOES "LIMITED ACCESS" MEAN?
As a Limited Access Affiliate:
- You may only work with the merchant(s) that brought you into the network.
- You cannot apply to additional merchant programs at this time.
- Your account may be eligible for expanded access after meeting certain requirements.
This structure helps ensure compliance, payment accuracy, and overall network quality.
CHECK YOU WELCOME EMAIL
After approval to the network, you should receive a welcome email that includes:
- Important account information
- Program details
- Helpful resources
- Next steps to get started
If you do not see this email, please check your spam or junk folder.
STEPS TO BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR ADDITIONAL NETWORK ACCESS
To request a review for expanded access, you must first:
- Complete your account setup by adding your payment and tax information.
- Generate at least 5 successful sales and the sales have processed through to the bank account you’ve set up.
These requirements establish account history and confirm that payment and compliance standards are being met.
HOW TO REQUEST A REVIEW
Once you have met the above criteria, you may request an account review by contacting:
The Compliance Team will evaluate your account activity and determine whether additional network access may be granted.
If approved:
- You will be able to apply to and join additional merchant programs.
- Your account access within the network will be expanded.
Please note that expanded access is not automatic and is granted at the discretion of the AvantLink Compliance Team.
FTC COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS
Before using any affiliate links, banners, widgets, or promotional tools, you are required to comply with Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines regarding endorsements and disclosures.
All affiliates must:
- Clearly and conspicuously disclose affiliate relationships
- Ensure endorsements are honest and not misleading
- Follow all applicable advertising and consumer protection laws
