Overview
In addition to reporting and commission solutions, AvantLink Insights can also be used as a tag management solution for approved affiliate partner scripts.
For merchants using Insights, AvantLink can, at the merchant’s discretion, place approved affiliate scripts on the merchant’s website through the Insights tag manager. This can help reduce development overhead, simplify partner integrations, and streamline ongoing tracking management.
How To Add an Affiliate Partner Script
When a merchant advertiser has an existing relationship with a supported affiliate partner, AvantLink can inject the partner’s script through Insights. This allows the merchant advertiser to use the functionality provided by the affiliate partner without requiring a separate script installation by the merchant’s development team.
To request an affiliate partner script integration:
- Merchant advertisers: Contact AvantLink Support at support@avantlink.com and identify the affiliate partner you would like to integrate. CC a contact from the affiliate partner so AvantLink can obtain any unique identifiers or other information required for the integration. AvantLink will review the request and configure the approved partner script through Insights.
- Affiliate partners: Contact AvantLink Support at support@avantlink.com and provide the information required to configure your script. CC a contact from the merchant advertiser on the request. AvantLink must receive approval from the merchant advertiser before completing the integration. Once approval is received, AvantLink Support will configure the partner script through Insights.

This functionality is currently supported in the AvantLink U.S. network for the following partners:

- UpSellit (56461)
- Envolve Tech (235745)
- tvScientific (308237)
Merchants working with one of these partners can use Insights to support the partner’s script-based functionality, provided they are already using Insights. Learn more about our highlighted support partners.
Platform Compatibility
Insights tag management functionality is available for most e-commerce platforms.
However, due to Shopify platform restrictions, this functionality is not currently supported for Shopify merchants.
