Overview
In addition to reporting and commission solutions, AvantLink Insights can also be used as a tag management solution for approved affiliate partner scripts.
For merchants using Insights, AvantLink can, at the merchant’s discretion, place approved affiliate scripts on the merchant’s website through the Insights tag manager. This can help reduce development overhead, simplify partner integrations, and streamline ongoing tracking management.
How It Works
When a merchant has an existing relationship with a supported affiliate partner, AvantLink may be able to inject that partner’s script through Insights. This allows the merchant to take advantage of the functionality provided by the affiliate partner without requiring a separate manual script installation by the merchant’s development team.
To request this setup, merchants can contact AvantLink Support (support@avantlink.com) and confirm the affiliate partner they are working with. AvantLink will review the request and, when supported, configure the approved partner script through Insights.
Supported Affiliate Partners
This functionality is currently supported in the AvantLink U.S. network for the following partners:
- Minty Recover (212249)
- UpSellit (56461)
- Envolve Tech (235745)
- tvScientific (308237)
Merchants working with one of these partners may be able to use Insights to support the partner’s script-based functionality, provided they are already using Insights.
Platform Compatibility
Insights tag management functionality is available for most e-commerce platforms.
However, due to Shopify platform restrictions, this functionality is not currently supported for Shopify merchants.
Requirements
To use this functionality, the merchant must:
- Be using AvantLink Insights
- Have an existing relationship with the supported affiliate partner
- Request the script placement through AvantLink Support
- Approve the use of the affiliate partner script on their website
