Is Your Program Tracking New Customer Sales?
Utilizing AvantLink’s new customer tracking allows your program to identify your affiliate partners bringing in that coveted customer. The best part – you get to decide what a new customer means for your business.
Next, confirm that your account is set up to track new customer data. You can do this by accessing your AvantLink dashboard, selecting the menu icon on the top left corner-->Commission Tools-->Network Rules. If your account is not set up to track network commission, email our support team (support@avantlink.com) to begin the process.
Reviewing New Customer Sales
Once new customer data is tracked, you can easily understand the percentage of new customer sales driven by your affiliates. From the AvantLink dashboard, select Reports-->Classic Reports -->Performance Summary by Affiliate. You may need to toggle -->Customize display settings for this report at the top right of the report.
You can also review a Sales/Commissions (Detail) Report which will help identify which specific sale came from a new customer. From the AvantLink dashboard, select Reports-->Classic Reports -->Sales Commission Details.
Awarding New Customer Sales
Tracking is just the beginning. AvantLink provides the capability to increase the commission on a specific sale driven by an affiliate that brings in a new customer.
