To ensure that your affiliate partners promote your brand with the most up-to-date promotions, it is important to continually add and update your ad campaigns.
CREATING AD CAMPAIGNS
AvantLink makes it easy to add text and banner ads to your program. From your AvantLink dashboard, navigate to Ad Tools > Ad Management.
To start, select Create Ad and follow the prompt:
Step 1 - Ad Type: AvantLink gives you the opportunity to create both Text and Banner Ads.
- Text Ads are plain text (255 character limit per ad).
- Enter in your Ad Text that highlights current promotions, special offers, top selling seasonal products, brands, etc. Suggested Text Ad Specifications
- Enter in your Ad Name which will help identify your ads when viewing internal reporting.
- Banner ads are an important visual representation of your brand and its promotions.

Step 2 - Ad Details
- Destination URL: Enter the landing page you want to take the consumer to when the ad is clicked.
- Start Date: Schedule ad campaigns to start on the day of creation, or in the future. Scheduling ad campaigns ahead of time is especially helpful during busy seasons or during the holidays and you can schedule these ad campaigns as early as you would like.
- End Date: End a campaign on a specific date. Selecting ‘No end date’ will ensure that your evergreen ads are always live and will run until you choose to set an end date.
- Start Time/End Time: Get specific with when you would like your ad campaigns to begin and end.
Step 3 - Promotion Details
- Promotion Type: If your ad is associated with a promotion, select the type of promotion so affiliates can find it more easily.
- Coupon Code: If your ad is associated with a coupon code, enter the coupon code value so affiliates can find it more easily. There is a 30 character limit on coupon codes.
- Ad Tags: are plain text (30 character limit per tag). They help affiliates find the ad more easily and can be used to identify seasonal sales events. Examples: Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Anniversary Sale, etc.
- Affiliate Designation: Designate an ad to one affiliate or a tag group of affiliates. This will ensure that only those affiliates will be able to access the ad campaign. This is useful for:
- Cobranded banner ads for specific affiliates
- Exclusive Coupon Code Rules
You are done! The interface also makes it easy for you to edit existing ad campaigns or filter through your current ads. But there is one last step…
