Tipalti is AvantLink’s payment and tax management platform. Affiliates use Tipalti to select a payout method, provide required tax information, and keep payment details up to date.

Access Your Payment and Tax Settings
To manage your payment and tax information:
- Open the main menu.
- Go to Payment Settings.
- Select Payment & Tax.
For security, you may be asked to enter a verification code through AvantLink’s two-factor authentication process.
After authentication is complete, you can enter or update your contact information.
When completing this section, pay close attention to the Type field:
- Select Individual if you are being paid as a person.
- Select Company if you are being paid as a business.
Then select Next.
If Tipalti does not recognize your address, you may be asked to confirm that the address is correct before continuing.
Choose or Update Your Payment Method
Your selected payment method determines what information is required before AvantLink can issue payments to you.
To choose or update your payment method, follow the prompts on the Payment Method page in Tipalti.
Any fees associated with the payment method you select will be shown on the Payment Method page before you save your selection.
Tax Forms for Affiliates in the AvantLink US Network
AvantLink offers three separate networks: AvantLink Networks (US, CA, AU) Explained
Affiliates in the US network can complete tax forms directly in Tipalti.
Tipalti includes a short questionnaire to help determine which tax form is required for your account.
Available tax forms may include:
- W-9
- W-8BEN
- W-8BEN-E
- W-8ECI
- W-8IMY
- W-8EXP
- 8233

Tax Forms for Affiliates in the AvantLink Canada and Australia Networks
AvantLink offers three separate networks: AvantLink Networks (US, CA, AU) Explained
Affiliates in the Canada or Australia network can complete tax forms directly in Tipalti.
- Canadian affiliate accounts doing business in Canada you'll need to provide your tax ID.
- Australian affiliate accounts doing business in Australia you'll need to have a TFN (Tax File Number).
Payment Information for Affiliates in the AvantLink Canada and Australia Networks
AvantLink offers three separate networks: AvantLink Networks (US, CA, AU) Explained
Fees do apply for eCheck, and Wire Transfer. The fees are calculated on the Payment Method page of the Tipalti platform.
If you are an affiliate in the CA or AU network but you wish to be paid in USD, our support staff can allow you to be paid in a different country. To enable this please email support@avantlink.com and they will be able to update your account.
Once updated, navigate to Account > Manage Payment and Tax Info. From the Address page, you will see the option to be paid in a different country.
Select the United States and you'll be able to have payments sent to your US account in USD.
Once you've submitted your tax information you will be ready to start earning with AvantLink!
