Submit Multiple/Batch Returns for Merchants Using Shopify Extensibility

Overview

Merchants that are using Shopify Tracking Integration Guide for Shopify Plus Checkout Extensibility: Add a custom pixel will not see their order numbers in AvantLink reporting.   With this solution Merchants will see the Shopify Transaction ID as the order number within AvantLink.  The Shopify Transaction ID is difficult to get within the Shopify platform so AvantLink developed a solution to process returns for Merchants using Shopify Extensibility.  This is a temporary solution until a future iteration of AvantLink's Shopify Tracking App is released.

Process

Merchants using Shopify should have incorporated the following process to send AvantLink a daily product datafeed: Shopify Datafeed / Product Feed Integration.  To have AvantLink process return files, you will need to update a permission to the "AvantLink Datafeed / Product Feed" app you created during that process.

1. Log into your Shopify store.
   
   
   

2. Select Settings
   
   
   
   
   
3. Select Apps and Channels, which is displayed on the left side panel of your Shopify store.  Then  and click the Develop apps link.
   
   
   
   
4. Click AvantLink Datafeed / Product Feed App
   
   
   
   
   
5. Click Configuration then Edit
   
   
   
   
   
6. Enter Read_Orders the search bar, check the box beside the Read_Orders permission, and then click Save.
   
   
   
   
   
7.   Let the AvantLink support team know you have made the update.
